Learn to drive in a safe environment surrounded by quality and comfort. All our lessons are taught in a dual control diesel and this is an ideal small car to take your first driving lessons and steps on your journey to independence. You will be taught on a 1:1 basis with structured training programmes tailored to fit your spare time, your needs, and at your own pace!
Local areas covered are Prestonpans, Port Seton, Cockenzie, Longniddry, Tranent,

Ormiston, and Elphinstone. Musselburgh and Haddington driving test centres are used.
Kevin Davanna passed his driving test shortly after turning 17 in 1990, and has never
looked back. In the intervening years he has obtained licences to drive pretty much anything
on wheels; including motorcycles (cat A), large vehicles (cat C) and large articulated
lorries (cat C+E). Kevin is also a member of the Institute of Advanced Motorists (Car and
LGV) and can help with preparations for your advanced test. It was his experiences as an
emergency response driver, including 12 years blue light driving experience to date, that
inspired Kevin to undertake training to become Driving Standards Agency Approved Driving
Instructor (ADI) both from seeing the lack of planning and anticipation skills when drivers
are confronted with emergency vehicles and of course dealing with the aftermath when things
go wrong! Kevin started off training with Happy Hour SOM and worked as a trainee instructor
before qualifying and starting Saltire Driver Training.
